BOGGIE'S REVENGE

WELCOME TO THE BOGGIVERSE

Boggie's Revenge is an upcoming indie game. I thought it'd be funny to make a game featuring my Discord friends. Imagine if your fate was to be turned into a gacha character for all eternity. That's what you get for posting the same ryan gosling gif one too many times.

This game will be a roguelike with gacha ^{(??? idk even know what that is really. Does it mean characters only or does it include items and weapons?)} and random gen elements. I am too lazy to make a dungeon myself, instead the players can generate it as they go along. That is the basic idea. There will also be a ROOM BUILDER which can be used to create your very own dungeon layouts, which then appear in the random shuffle.

A central focus is a feedback loop between environment and player. As the player progresses, they create various rooms. More money means bigger and more expensive rooms to add to the dungeon. You can also overwrite old rooms with new ones. And all these rooms are destructible. There will be some secret rooms with indestructible blocks and a platforming focus, some chill rooms where you can regain health and talk to enemies, and a load of rooms where you just fight and blow things up, as God intended.
